This tree made a silent but impact worthy contrast to all the craziness of the holiday decor and partying. Easy to put together and pretty! The only thing I disliked was the amount of time and effort it took to screw the main pieces together. It was also very loud and squeaky. Although, in hindsight, I guess I could've sprayed WD-40 on it to make it more bearable.
Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

hard to but together but worth it. Kind of messy.
Pros: very pretty
Cons: Assembly, glitter is messy, base is ugly but i covered it with wrapped gifts

I will start this review off by saying that I typically am okay -- and often pleased -- with purchases from sites with some cheaper prices, such as Oriental Trading. I've gotten some great stuff from here, so sometimes when I get a great deal to find out that the item was a dud, I'm fine with it. So given that, please believe me when I say that this tree looks horrible. The stump is barely painted, and the bottom half of mine was bent -- my tree barely stands up because of it! The glitter falls off at the slightest brush...which isn't even that horrible, considering there's no way to make the tree actually look nice to begin with. The branches barely bend in the right directions and look generally horrible. I really don't even see how I will be able to use it -- it's probably going right in the trash.

Purchased this for my 88 year old mother who wanted to put together a winter display outside her apartment door ... she is pretty fussy; however, having said that she really loved the winter tree. Couldn't have been happier with the quality and overall appearance. So-o recommend this product - reasonably priced and nice.

I am very pleased with this tree. It took about an hour to get all the leaves unfurled and a lot of the glitter fell off. But more than enough remained to give the tree a magical look. I am very pleased with the shape and the height. My only caveat is that the branches are a little too fragile. None broke but they must be handled with a delicate touch.
