"This has the consistency of flour. It can be mixed with much water to a plaster consistency and spread thin and smooth, or with little water to make a clay. It holds it shape very well, small amount of shrinkage, dries rock hard and very light. I am using the Aves Paper Mache' on a foam armature covered in Elmer's glue-soaked cheese cloth. I allowed the cheese cloth to dry over night and then applied the thin-mixed paper mache with a large dry wall putty knife and then made relief sculptures on this base with the thick, clay-like mix. Can also be sanded when dry. Dries quickly, but not so quickly that it can't be worked with. I wish I knew about this when I taught high school art! It would be excellent for sculpting puppet parts (Especially marionettes because it is so light weight)."
