AMACO® LT Textured Alligator Glazes. No two glazed pieces will be alike due to the many variations in texture which occur in firing. Variegated matte textures predominate at the lower firing temperatures and gloss textures at the higher, with a mingling of matte and gloss between the extremes. Use on pottery shapes formed from moist or dry firing clays. Can be applied on bisque or greenware. Recommended firing temperatures are Cone 06-05 (1855 - 1911ºF, 1013 - 1044ºC). Category 1 and 4 glazes are leadless. These glazes must be applied on a mature Cone 04 (1971ºF, 1077ºC) bisque then glaze-fired to Cone 05 (1911ºF, 1044ºC). Jewel brown is a dark brown and amber aventurine type glaze with infinite depth and gold flecks appearing throughout. All colors are lead-free except antique blue, antique green, buffalo brown, cinnamon, dark blue, frosted jade, green blendit, light blue and pinkish brown. 1 pint.
