I bought this paper because I wanted sketch pads for the kids to use on our road trip. My 6 year old only likes to draw and write with markers and this paper is far too light weight for that. This paper is the typical grayish you expect from recycled paper but is lighter weight than a typical sheet of computer or drawing paper (you can see through it to anything dark colored underneath.) We have used it for trying out our new stamps and the ink bleeds through. It might be suitable for pencil and crayon drawings, but for the price and quality, I wish I would have bought a pad of construction paper instead.
Pros: sturdy binding
Cons: quality
No, I would not recommend this product to a friend.
