These plates are very flimsy and thin. I was going to use them as part of our table display for a bridal shower but was ashamed to. I would definitely not buy these again and probably not any other plates from them because it makes me wonder if all of their plates are like this.

I ordered these as potential plates for black and white themed wedding in August. The square shape does look nicer, and contrary to the previous review, I think they're sturdy for a paper plate. I never buy the 100 plates for $1.99, so I do not know about the comparison. We may use them, but we would love to find a better price.

These plates were to be used for a wedding reception, however, they are so chinsy and cheap looking that I would be embarrassed to use them other than at home. For the price, these 18 plates are no stronger than the cheap ones you get at the grocery for 100 for 1.99....they are terribly cheap looking and feeling. Not recommended.
