Although these beads are very small, they work well with 24 gauge headpins, and will help to keep a bead from sliding off of the headpin of that size. I place them in a bead sorting tray and put the end of the pin into the hole of the bead and nudge it up onto the pin.
Pros: quality, consistent color/size of bead.
Cons: Assembly

These beads are so small that they are difficult to use as anything other than seed beads.
