Looks Cute, but Not Durable

"The item served the purpose for the party, but the top of the tent has to be reinforced for future play due to some of the poles poking through the fabric."

"this tent came with no instruction, simple setup but nothing to talk about it. wish the manufacture can come up with 1 sheet of drawing to how to set it up.
its a nice tent wish it was more robust for kids with energy"

"I had a carnival theme and knew they would be a lot of toddlers so I wanted to have like a little baby section. So this was one of my purchases and I tell you they absolutely loved it. I was happy with the size and quality and it looked great. Now I put it in my twins nursery and fits well and they still enjoy it."

cute but not well made
Date: August 29, 2009
"bought this to use for a photo op for a carnival party we had at summer camp. really cute and did make for some great photos......but as soon as we started putting it together, a couple of the poles ripped right out the top--we had to duct tape the material."

great look poor durability
Date: August 22, 2009
"It looks looks great in the ad. When our first tent arrived, the extra material at the bottom which holds the poles in place and also from poking through the delicate fabric, had been stitched in upside down. We tried to set it up anyway, just to get a feel for how it worked. The top has a pie shaped fabric piece that is supposed to hold the tent poles in place as well, but this material is the same nylon as the tent unfortunately and one of the poles went through the stitching. Bottom line, the concept is great but the execution of the product makes it worthless. We exchanged the tent and the second one came with a hole in the bottom."

Add Tips to the End of the Poles
Date: August 17, 2009
"I saw the comments about the poles poking holes in the tent roof, so I put small, plastic tips on the ends of each of the poles before putting my tent up. (I found the tips that are used to cap the cut ends of wire shelves in closets - any hardware store). This worked perfectly.
It's also good to note that there is a short AND long side to each tent pole. Putting the long pole against the short roof angle could probably cause enough strain to poke a hole in the top. An easy detail to miss, so maybe some directions should be included. But rather easy to put up otherwise.
My Reading Tent is ready to go!

Cute and Fun for little Ones

"This circus tent is Adorable! I set it up at a birthday party for 1-4 year olds. They all loved it, it was a big hit with all of the kiddos. BUT, the next day I noticed that there were holes in the top where the frame was poking through the outside covering! I don't think the tent is made well enough to endure a lot of rough play, but definitely worth the money!!!"

Cool tent
Date: June 7, 2009
"Our tent was missing instructions too. Thankfully my husband actually is a rocket scientist, and put it together. Actually, once you see that the bend on the frame pieces goes along the mid-way ridge, it's easy to put together. We had 10 kids in it for a birthday party and it got wild in there. I've had no issues with tearing. We left it up for playtime/reading and it's been great. All of us can fit in there with our two small dogs too. Adults have to sit tailor-fashioned but it's cool."

Circus Tent
Date: April 23, 2009
"I was really excited about getting the tent. As soon as it came in the mail I opened it up. Where are the directions? You wouldn't think with something as simple as a pop-up tent you would need instructions. However, this pop-up tent was not very easy. First of all, I've never had a pop-up tent that I had to put the sticks inside to keep it up. Secondly, if it came out of the blue bag then it should go back into the blue bag. It DOES NOT go back into the blue bag. If it is supposed to go back into the bag then there should have been instructions on how to fold it back up. I would like to send the tent back, and receive a refund, or a credit. I'm not happy with the tent at all."

a hit

"I got this tent for my grandson's second birthday. After I opened it, I saw the recommendation for over 3, but it's a tent. There were no directions, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out. My grandson loved it! It's very lightweight, and when a child is inside pushing on the wall, it will roll over. It's large enough for a small child to easily sleep inside (in the house). I wouldn't try it outside. All in all, for the price, it's great."

"Didn't know what to expect but tent is actually reasonably good quality, pops up easily (although I did not see instructions, maybe I missed them in packaging) & looks exactly as shown on website. My 6 foot 7 inch tall hubby was able to get inside & sit "indian-style" with our 50-pound dog, with a little extra sitting space, & no need to "bow" his head.
I don't think I would recommend this tent for outdoor use unless you were planning to do so on a day when there would be no "unfortunate weather" because it came with no way to anchor floor of tent to ground. Also, vinyl material is "a little" thin to be putting up with rain or wind ... I set our tent up in a child's bedoorm on carpet & that seems like a good match but anywhere inside a home or other cuilding would probably work out OK.
Not the kind of quality to be best matched to very active or demanding children but one or two "respectful" kids might find months of fun inside.
I sat inside the tent (I am 5 foot 4 inches, not quite 200 pounds) with room to spare while I was setting the tent up ... and adult & child could easily sit inside for a cute tea party or play cirus event ... however, I would strongly encourage the side "holes" covers (the tent comes with three doors, two are "hole" spahed, one is a tradiational upside-down "T" shape) be kept open at all times. After a few minutes inside the tent in a 68-degree home I felt a little too warm & was concerned about the circulation of air. Keeping both of the "hole"-shaped door openings rolled open at all times is an easy way to keep the tent comfortable & properly ventilated, even when backed into the corner of a room, such as I have done.
Actual dimensions of tent I rec'd - 46 inches wide by 50 inches tall at the peak of the top.
Cute for the price - with a normal degree of caution, definitely recommended."
