I wanted something to teach Genre and these are perfect. They are bright colorful and the pictures are very cute. The kids can relate to the pictures and it makes it easier to learn the different types. I had these laminated so I can use them again and again. I use these to have the kids write stories, they can see the picture and instantly know what direction the story needs to go in.

The posters looked ok, but I thought the Historical Fiction poster would have been confusing to the younger students. The description seemed too much like a fairy tale; especially when it had a princess and a Knight character with "Once upon a time" as the introduction.
