"These are great! I'm throwing a bug themed party for my 4 year old and I bought bug stickers to decorate the outside of these as well as shredded green paper that looks like grass on the inside. I will have the kids engage in a bug hunt with these and the plastic bugs (also through OTC)."

"This is actually the very first item I purchased at OTC that's worth the money. I saw this same bug viewer sold at a retail store for $2.99 a piece. It looked plain but I put some stickers to liven it up. This was one of the items I put in my son's 8th birthday classroom party goody bag."

"These critter containers are sturdy, good sized, and the lids fit well (I made sure I wasn't going to have critters getting cozy in my house). I paired these up with the bug nets and the kids all loved them. Both items are big enough to not be a chocking hazard concern (make sure you take the clip off the bug nets, first). I'd definately reccommend these for a bug party!"

"I picked these up for my son's 5th birthday party--instead of using party bags (especially since the party pack didn't come w/ an) which just get thrown out - I tho.ught these would work perfectly since the party theme was BUGS :) and placed 5 bugs in each, along w/ 3 tattoos (bugs) and a row of 5 tiny stickers (again bugs). Used foamies to make look like grass on the outside to make name label"

"I purchased these for my daughter's 4th birthday party at her preschool. I picked a unisex theme of "Garden & Bugs" so these jars worked perfectly. I fit about 3 fake assorted bugs/frogs/lizards comfortably in each jar. I made sticker labels for the outside of each jar with "Kai Turns 4 Today!" a little bug icon and "CHILD'S NAME 's Bug Collection". They are good quality and the magnification is not bad. The end result was adorable."
