"I own a small daycare and we love to make an end of year project for the kids to use over the summer and in the fall when we return, if they want. In the past we have used the canvas tote bags, using paint and the children's handprints to decorate them. We have also used T-shirts and pillowcases. But this year we decided to use the backpacks. The kids all love to carry small toys and stuffed animals in things and this would be just the right size for a car trip, picnic, overnite trip to Grandma's, or to carry to school. We will either tie-dye them or use air-brush spray paint to decorate them. The parents always love these type crafts as they are something the children can use themselves to keep up with their own belongings. Thank you for having such great prices and fast service that we can order them in time for our big event."

"I purchased these for the kids to decorate at my son's camping-theme birthday party and they were a big hit. We used fabric markers, crayons and slick paint, as well as stickers and foam stick-ons and they seemed to all work well on the backpacks. I would purchase again."

"Got these to be "backpacks/rescue bags" for a Dora/Diego party--they were a real hit with the kids (ages 3-5). The size was great--about the size of a piece of notebook paper, and the simple straps are easy for kids to put on. Can be filled with lots of things and even hold a small stuffed animal or two. We did not deocorate them but I think that would be a fun activity."

"These backpacks were the perfect size for kids. We ordered them for a camping trip...they were great for hikes so the kids could carry their own water and snacks. And they were so fun to decorate with Puffy Paint and Markers...They worked great!"

"I ordered these bags to use for VBS. I was extremely pleased when they arrived. They were A good quality for the price. The canvas was not thin. I used fabric markers to decorate and it looked really colorful when finished. I think the kids will enjoy decorating them and will use them to carry their bible or to carry extra clothes or shoes."

"Although we purchased these for our VBSer to use to pack a change of clothes for our camp over finale we found they were too narrow to use this way. Length was perfect but they were only about 10 inches wide.
It worked out for us because we told them that they were Bible backpacks.
The quality was excellent and the kids did seem to love them."

"I was part of a camping committee for a mother/daughter camp. These backpacks were passed out with fabric markers and stencils. Every person was very creative in their decorating and many people thanked us for our craft choice--fun and practical. These backpacks were filled with a large lunch and taken on a hike too! This is the perfect size for an adult or a child to bring to a fair, the zoo, the park, etc.. It can easily hold a juice pack, some veggies, a sandwich, and some trail mix. A good friend on the commitee tie dyed hers and uses it every day when she goes walking."

"I have used these for several previous birthday parties, as party favor bags, and have never had a problem. Of course, these can't be used as regular backpacks for school, etc, but the kids always like them. They are great for collecting pinata prizes and then adding party favors. Sometimes I've let the kids decorate them, as a party activity. Once, when my son had a "difficult" party theme (just dragons), he and I decorated them ahead of time, using a dragon stamp and fabric paint. (We had a different craft activity.) We used the bags as party favor bags that matched the party theme. They were a big hit. I just bought these again, for my son's upcoming party and we might decorate them again, ahead of time, because most 9-year-old boys don't enjoy crafts anymore, but my son does. After the parties, my sons have used their bags to store their rock collections, toys, pirate booty, etc. They have some that are at least 5 years old, and they've held up fun."

"I purchased this product for a 7-year old's birthday party for the guests to decorate & take home. I was too embarrassed to use it. The only measurement listed was length (at 14.5"). The length isn't the problem -- the width is. At just a little over 9" in width, the bag is not much bigger than a piece of legal-sized paper. I couldn't think of one practical thing a 7-year old could fit in this bag except maybe one pair of flip-flops. Not even a pair of shoes would fit. The picture I've attached shows that the width is the same as a standard size butter knife. Very disappointing."

"This bag is 9.5 inches by 14 inches, which is great for 5 and 6 year olds. The size would not be okay for older teens. We're using this bag for our younger girls to decorate at camp this summer."
