The holes for securing the bells to anything are super tiny. We wanted small bells but these are smaller than they look for sure.

The photo makes the bells seem much larger than they actually are. It is true that careful reading of the description reveals that the bells are only 1/4 to 1/2 inch, but a picture is worth a thousand words. You could use the word "small" in the name of the item - Small Gorgeous Goldtone Bells - it would be helpful. You use the word "jumbo" in what I would consider to be normal-sized bells. Which is what we had to order. What use is a quarter-inch bell?

These jingle bells were much smaller that I originally thought. I needed them for beading onto a cord for kids necklaces, but had to go buy larger jingle bells because these would not fit over the cord.

These are so small!!!!! The picture made these bells look like they were normal size, but now I've been way overcharger for bells so small they don't make sound.
