I bought these for my daughter's birthday party. The kids enjoyed doing them but were frustrated by how difficult it was to pull of the different sections to expose the sticky surface. My husband had to go over the outlines with a cutting tool to get the sticker off cleanly. There was plenty of sand for each project and the designs were cute.
Pros: Child's Favorite, Age appropriateness
Cons: Assembly, quality

We used this at a holiday party for our town. The kids and parents love them once they got them done. It was very hard to peel some of the smaller items like snowflakes. Little kids under 5 couldn't do the peeling part without an adult. Over all the kids loved them.

I found it helpful to place the project in a card box while working on it. Then dump the excess sand into it for an easy cleanup.
From my VBS craft experience, kids love sand projects!

This can be messy. We put down a dishtowel to catch the excess sand. It helps!
