"I was doing these sun catchers for a community resource center for girls/women for the holidays. They were easy to do and were not difficult in the designs. They were items that had a more universal appeal than others I had seen. I don't use the brushes because the brushes do not give me the look I am after. Instead I use the long, rounded toothpicks to apply my paints to the sun catchers. I find the colors come out smoother than when I use a brush."

"For years I've made different types of hand painted ornaments for friends/family, usually about 80 each year. I was so excited when I found the suncatchers again. They are really easy and they look wonderful when they're done. Everyone loves them."
