"paint comes out very quickly and is difficult for the children to disperse evenly. Elementary children used this and it is probably better for teenagers"

nice idea, but...

"I love the idea of paint pens! Many of the pens busted off between the tip and bottle piece, messy. I had to be very careful with "air bubbles" while painting which made it difficult to paint neatly mainly in smaller painting areas. I think for most people this is a neat fun idea, next time I'll try the marker idea."

Wonderful alternative

"I got these as I have a big age range(15-5) that needed to paint. These were a much cleaner and easier alternative. The younger ones were able to use these with little to no trouble. The air bubbles were an issue as was some leakining tubes but overall....we really enjoyed using them."

"I used these with my 2nd Grade Sunday School class and will be using them again. I was afraid they'd be difficult to use, the last time I used paint pens, they were very difficult to get the paint out of. These are extremely easy. They are small, but well worth the money!"

"Several of the markers arrived leaking and several had their tops crack and begin to leak when in use. I'm not sure if they froze in transport causing the problems or if they were lacking in quality to begin with.
Would recommend them only because there are no other markers to choose from to finish the sun catchers offered from this site. Would not purchase them again."

Great for small spaces on suncatchers

"We used these on our confirmation retreat, and they worked out really well--easy for the 6th grade students to handle, and there were enough that everyone had a good choice of color / style without waiting for something to be passed around. The butterfly suncatchers have small spaces and these worked out nicely for the 6th grade confirmands.
A note about preparation: you do have to unwrap each pen, and unscrew every cap to remove the stopper. This takes awhile! One pen exploded in transit."

"Easy to use and parents thanked me when they saw what we used. Less mess then a paint brush and less clean up. I am also using these for VBS Preschool -5th grade. I got a lot for my money too. I looked every where for these paint pins and wow they were expensive."

"These pens were used to paint the suncatchers and they were easy to use. The price is great for the quantity you get also. The only down side is that each of the pens comes with a seal inside the cap, so removing all of them took some time and effort. Also, you have to remember not to squeeze too hard or the paint squirts out fast. Overall, great product."
