Self-Adhesive foam is the way to go when working with a kindergarten class! This project was a lot of fun for them because they could make it anyway they wanted not just the way the instructions laid it out. The only trouble we ran into was the string, but that was easily solved by punching a hole in the foam and stringing it through and tying a knot.

I purchased this product for our 1st graders. The smell was overwhelming when I opened the box. We tried to make it work, but the smell would not go away. We had a second shipment sent. The smell was the same. We were very sad because we could not do the project. They are sooooo cute. The chemical smell was so strong we were concerned for our students. We even felt light-headed from the fumes.
Pros: Age appropriateness
Cons: quality, strong chemical smell
