We bought these for our four and five year old group. We bought pom poms and buttons and they glued the pieces on to these boards. The colors were nice, the shapes were good. My only issue with this is that they are not very "jumbo". they were much smaller than i was expecting. The product description gives measurements, so that's my fault for not reading it more carefully. And the kids were happy with it anyway.
