Kids had fun making these in 1st grade classroom as part of the Chinese New Year celebration. No instructions with the kits, so printed out picture from OTC website and used it as a guide for the kids.

I ordered this craft for use with the elderly. There were too many pieces that didn't align well and were too small or had to be attached along the edges of the project. Also, the clients could't tell the fronts from the backs so they would glue the wrong side. We had to give up and opt for something less frustrating.

In order for this dragon to be substantial enough to play with, we had to back the entire length of the dragon with filing folder paper. Then, the ribbons and stick would stay in place. When the children played with it, the ribbons got immediately tangled up. Consequently, it was not so much fun anymore and a pain to untangle the lot.

I did this project with a kindergarten class, however because of the amount of time we had for the project I had to assemble most of the dragon myself. The students decorated it and glued on the stick and ribbons. Stringing the bells was also something an adult needed to do. The kids really liked there dragons when they were finished.
