Cute for 2nd graders -- use glue stick
Date: November 6, 2009
"This craft project was great for 2nd graders -- I'm glad I read a previous review and had them use glue stick instead of glaze. I suppose the glaze would make them look more like stained glass, but I don't think it would be worth the mess. I'm not sure about the review that said the tissue paper wouldn't stick to the foam -- you don't glue to the foam, but to the acetate."

"Used for a class party project for 3rd grade. Time consuming. Used glue stick instead of paste - worked ok."

"Cute and fairly simple, but the acetate did have a hard time sticking to the foam sheet. Really the only complaint."

"I called these stained glass art. More for moms than pre-schoolers, but still pretty cool once complete. The acetate paper and foam cut-out don't really match in size though and some of the foam pieces come bent so you have to fix them. Aside from that GREAT craft. I used glue sticks. The instructions mention some sort of paste which did NOT come with the packet of crafts and was not mentioned in the product discription as something you would need to buyy, so be forewarned!"
