"Tubes easy to control. Kids felt the red was more orange than red. Could use better dispersion of sparkles in paint. Note: There is a small device in the opening of the tube. Looked like it should dispense paint.? Try as we might the paint did not come through the opening so we we removed it. Perhaps directions for those of us who are craft challenged:-)"

They are ok....

"They are ok but I would say only for older kids...Younger kids don't understand that the harder you push, the more comes out....I think that I would have been better off buying paint in the little bottles instead...I put that I would recommend to a friend, but I don't know...The more I think about it, the more that my thoughts about it have changed!!!"

"I purchased these markers for my 4 year old grandson. We painted the ladybug suncatchers and they were a big hit. The paint does come out a bit fast but all in all I was very pleased with my purchase."

"First, know that you must take off the white cap and clear tip to get the stopper out. Also, be sure to replace the stopper after use to prevent drying or leaking.
Second, many of the colors do look more vibrant in the photo. Red is definately more salmon colored. We found that the best coverage when dry was from the blues, dark green, and purple.
Third, you need to help younger ones to make sure they don't squeeze too hard and overfill the small areas. Our 4 year old did get lots of air bubbles since she did lots of squeezing and stopping. They were easy to pop with a toothpick.
Knowing all that, I would highly recommend this product. You don't need to use brushes and the colors are easy to wash off fabric and skin. The glitter sparkles in the sunlight and adds a more festive look."

"Should include a notice to remove stopper before using. Red and orange were pretty much the same color. Kids wanted actual brown for the football. Was able to completely wash away semi-dried paint to repaint suncatcher. Kids 5-10 did well with them except for small spaces."

Colors not great for holiday collection

"I purchased 3 sets of these paints to go along with the holiday sun catchers. My 3 kids and I did a test run tonight and are waiting for the paint to dry. We were not thrilled with the color choices: pink (more like an orangey/salmon), black, orange, white, green, yellow, blue, purple. There is NO red or brown as shown in the picture. Red and green were the 2 colors we really needed. Very disappointed in the color selection - suited more for spring and summer than Christmas. I may have to get some red Sharpies for the school project tomorrow. The flow of the paint is fine, but a bit bubbly. I'll have to see how they look in the morning for the final verdict on this product."

"There is a little stopper under the pen tip that needs to be removed before use. I think that a lot of the problems with "no flow or overflowing" maybe becos that wasn't removed before use.
I take out & toss the stopper, recap the pens to prevent drying & store them upright in a mug. Works great! my 2.5 year old needs supervision/help with these, but my 5 year out works by herself. The kids just need to be reminded to squeeze GENTLY! LOL!"

"I bought these for my daughter's 9th b-day party to make butterfly suncatchers. The girls really had a difficult time using them The flow was either too much or hardly at all. There was no happy medium. It made something that was supposed to be simple and easy ,difficult and frustrating for the girls. In the end once the paint dried, it did work and the suncatchers turned out cute."

"These makers are a disaster to use with 5-7 year olds. The paint tends to pour out even when you don't squeeze the tube. The paint also runs over the barriers and tends to mix with the other colors to make an odd one color mess. Painting with paint and brushes was a much better choice."

"I PLAN ON BUYING MORE AND MORE!!! These were the best suncatchers (and paint) we have EVER made. I bought them to pass the time until we got to the "big" project for a birthday party and they turned out nicer than the PEARLS we opened! Very colorful. May need to do a second coat here and there but by far the most colorful and glittery suncatchers. I will buy them for school parties. They were a little confusing to open with the PLUG inside that needs to be taken out, and we wasted a little becase of that."
