"These are a wonderful deal and cute! After folding the border, I went ahead and sewed completely around so it wouldn't fall down (also tucking in the white penguin face and sewing along bottom). I don't think these can be beat at $1 each!"

"This project was great. I ordered it for my 8yr old bday party where we did 6 craft stations. This was one of the best ones. The craft was so cute...all the kids wore them while leaving the party. Directions were easy and the product/outcome was great. I would definitely recommend this."

Awesome group craft!

"I bought this (on clearance) for a monthly playdate with my moms group. There were 19 kids, ages 18 mo - 4 yrs, and the moms helped their own kids. It was a HUGE hit. The kids loved the hats and the moms were so happy to have something other than a foam sticker craft. (It's very hard to find a craft for that age range that can be done in a few minutes per child.) My son keeps pulling out the leftover kits and asking to make another one.
All the moms loved that the pieces all came pre-cut and individually packaged so there was no digging for an eye or a cheek, etc. The finished product was super cute, too!!
Tip: if you want the felt pieces to be extra sturdy, maybe hot glue them later, after the kids are done? Or sew them on for extra security? But otherwise, just have fun fun fun!"

Cute Penquin Hats

"My students love making and wearing these hats every January when we study about penquins of the south pole. The quality of these hats is very good and they are easy to assemble. I use tacky glue for the face pieces and then sew on the button eyes."

"We made these with my daughters 8/9 yr old friends. We used fabric glue to put the pieces on and they came out great! Kids had a little trouble with folding the brim up but it still looks cute as the button eyes. They love wearing them to school. What a great easy craft! And it's useful!"

"I am a pre-kindergarten teacher and every January I teach a unit on Penguins at the South Pole. My students make these hats every year. They love learning about penguins and their habitat and have so much fun being a penguin with their hat that we turn our classroom into the southpole and invite their families to join us on a penguin adventure."
