"We did this as a kindergarten craft. We used a lot of glue and also ended up stapling some of the hats in place. The glue does work - it just takes a lot of it and it has to sit and dry for awhile. It is probably something for kids that are a little older as it required a lot of adult supervision/help. They are very cute, though, and convenient as everything is precut and ready to put together."

"I had children from the age of 3 to 12 make these and they came out just like the picture , they were fun but I used hot glue which you would have to help with."

"Although this craft looks cute when completed, I found it very difficult to keep the straw hair glued on. The children became frustrated and I had to finally finish the craft for the kids. A hot glue gun would probably work, but you can't do that with a whole class!"

"I did this with my 17 public school first graders. I'd do it again. The price was higher when I bought it. We used white glue in bottles. The yellow hair can be cut in half to help it lay flat. Makes a colorful bulletin board... I used it to close out Our Farm unit."
