I have used this for 4 years now in my preschool class with 5 year olds. I love it and so do they. I add other bows and facial pieces along with what comes with the kit. I cut extra pieces out of black foam. Pieces are added for variety and creativity so not one looks alike! I use my glue gun to help put the stems on, the rest is done with regular white glue. I get many compliments from parents on how cute they look on our Halloween board. I would receommend this project, works for us!!

The pieces were hard to glue on to the plate. The foam pieces were not sticking to the plate. Also the directions say to glue the pipe cleaner under the leaf....impossible. I found that just puncturing a hole and sticking the pipe cleaner into the plate was more effective. It did look cute once we were done with it.

Even using the foam glue recommended in the description, the pieces did not stick to the paper plate. The 3rd and 4th grade kids were frustrated with this craft. This is not one of Oriental Trading's best craft kits.

I used this craft at a home party with 5 year olds. The kids had no trouble putting this one together. I did find that I needed to glue the bow down with a glue gun so that it would stay in place. The rest of the craft was put together with glue dots. The kids really enjoyed themselves on this one. I would use this one again!

First graders made this easily. I recommend using a one-hole punch to make a hole at the top to loop the chenille stem and the ribbon hanger through rather than using glue to attach them. Glue stick will work for the rest of it, except perhaps the bow.

We did these for our Halloween Party with our playgroup - and I highly recommend them. They are individually packaged, all the pieces are there, easy to assemble, can be completely assembled (even with the ribbon) with a glue stick or regular glue, and they are cute!
