"The 4th graders loved doing these scratch bookmarks. A good price for the product. However, several of the bookmarks were scratched/scraped during the shipping process. They also smell horrible... but the smell seems to fade after a few days. In a pack of 24, there are only 12 scratching tools... so plan to buy some extra wooden manicure sticks if you need 24 kids to scratch concurrently."

"This was a hit with my 11-year old daughter's friends. It does create a bit of black scrapings, especially for those who decided they liked the colors and pattern underneath and just scraped ALL the black away. You'll want to watch them as they are prone to brush the scraps off the table."

"I teach Church school to 6th graders and they absolutely loved them. They are durable and will last which is what you want. The only thing I didn't like was that you get 24 bookmarks but only 12 wooden scratching tools? For 14 students this was not cool. I had some work on a worksheet while others made them. Other than that they are really worth it. !!!"

"I used these for a craft program this summer and everyone loved them. It really brought out the creativity in the children. I wish the paper was a little heavier but the children didn't seem to mind. I would not use for very young children because they don't get the idea of using the scratching stick"

"Used on a mission trip with kids from 4-17. Great to get a theme across and very adaptable since the design is left up to the ability of the artist. The little ones just scratch off(changed implement to popsicle stick to make it easier ) and the bigger ones are more intricate. Any scratch off would be a great activity for a group."

"one of 3 pkgs was short a couple of scratch sticks, but otherwise this was a really nice project. the kids (ages K - gr 5) thought the colors on black looked "really cool" and with just a little suggestive guidance, they came up with some very creative designs."
