Quick to make smiles

"I was looking for a product for a kindergarten room for my daughter. I read the previous reviews and felt this project was the most promising. I did take the advice that there were not enough beads in the packet to make a large enough cane. So I doubled my order. I took the packet and put it in a snack Ziplock and then added 18 more beads to finish the cane. Since everything was organized, the majority of the children were able to work independently except for turning the ends down to hold the beads. There were a few small glitches. First some had trouble pulling the beads down on the pipe cleaner but once they got the hang of it there was no problem. Secondly, a few had trouble shaping the cane but again the problem was easily resolved. Thirdly, you couldn't stop the pride and smiles when the project was finished. I would suggest having extra beads because some did not have holes. A sure success for any grade."

"I bought these to put in some holiday bags for my co-workers. I thought they would be a bit larger but hey, they are still cute and fun and my kids and I had a blast. They were kind of bummed because they wanted to put them all on the tree and I only allowed them 2 a piece. Looks like I will be purchasing more!"

"I found a proper amount of red and white beads but I was upset to find that when finished, the candy cane was abut 3" long. I did what several others did and we made 6 candy canes instead of 12. Still worth the price if you ask me."

"The senior citizens used to make this type of ornament in my home town, and I expected the quality to be similar, but it was not. The beads are of very poor quality and the pipe cleaners are too short. The ornament ends up being only a few inches long. I think I am going to debur the beads as best I can and buy bigger pipe cleaners, put several kits together and only make 4-6 ornaments instead of the 12. Wished I would have sent them back, but now it's too late. The kids like putting these together though."

"I bought these for a craft at a Christmas in June birthday party. They are individually packaged. Each package comes with 17 (or so) white and 17 red tri-cot beads, a red pipe cleaner and instructions. The pipe cleaner is folded up to fit in the teeny-tiny packaging. At first I thought they forgot them. The finished product is about as long as my pointer finger - 3" like it says in the description. The beads are smaller than tri-cot beads I would buy in bulk at a craft store and not as good quality.
Overall I like the ornament, it is easy, cute and cheap."

"These were so much fun to make. My 4 year old twin boys helped to put these together! They are a little too small for a regular sized tree, though. We made these with a lot of other handmade decorations for a 4 foot tree that we gave to my grandmother for Christmas. She enjoyed the decorations that we made for her to keep."
