I don't usually write reviews but I had to in this case because I was very happy with the pencils I received. I needed them for a special event and they turned out to be very sophisticated looking. Perfect gold color and love the effect of the matte finish. I was very pleased.

I just love these pencils. I was pleasantly suprised at their quality, not only for the pencil but for the eraser. Often white erasers are not too good but these pencils are great and are a big hit! Of course gold is very appealing to the kids. And you just can't beat the price! I highly recommend them!

The lettering is too dark, it should be white. For this reason I recommend you purchase the silver pencils, which have gold lettering.

Upon purchasing these gold personalized pencils, I thought they would be a better product. Based on the price and the look of the picture on the website, I was anticipating a great product. Sadly, the pencils are very cheap, they break easily, and some of the eraser head were waxy or lopsided. As for the personalization, I would barely see the writing on the pencil. It was etched in white font and I would not read it with the gold background. Not a very good product.

The gold color is perfect for our event, not too shiny gold, more of a flat, matte gold. My only real complaint was the same as other reviewers that the imprinting does not show up very well because there is not much color contract between the imprint and the gold pencil. I tried rubbing some brown eye shadow into a few with a soft cloth, which worked, but decided it was too much hassle for the number of pencils I would have to do. Overall, I would order again and try other colors.

Cons: low color contrast on imprinting

Gold lettering on gold pencil??? I had to rub black paint on the letters to be able to read the embossing! Otherwise, they are very nice, but the lettering needs to be black.

I agree with the previous reviewer. Why is there gold lettering on a gold pencil? The picture looks like the lettering is black, which is why I bought them. I can hardly read the writing on them. Not happy, but need them for an immediate event.

Gold with Gold writing does not mix it is VERY HARD to SEE and I do not recomend them to anyone... It they had black writing on them then it would be ok but with Gold on Gold very hard to SEE.. very ugly
