The outcome is great, if it is done right. If you follow directions, it is harder to put together then connecting one at a time. I did it with 3rd graders, and many needed assistance. Some however decided to make two not perfectly sphere balls instead of one as the decoration for a car mirror :) Hurray for creativity!

Cons: Age appropriateness, Assembly

I bought these ornaments to assemble with my third grade class (with the help of parents, obviously). My only complaint is the directions. They are absolutely terrible. Unless you find another review with directions or other directions online, do not buy them. The packaging directions are meaningless. I also prefer the red & green colors they had in years past, but they are still nice. JUST NEED NEW DIRECTIONS!

Cons: directions for assembling!

I love the way this craft looks when completed, but the directions are really horrible. Thank goodness for the reviewers on "12 Paper Ornament Craft Kits" if it wasn't for them I would have never figured this one out. These directions might help you more: 1. follow folds and fold into the design 2. Glue 10 circle (fold end to fold end) to make a straight line - Then glue ends together to make middle circle 3. Glue 5 circles (fold to fold) together to make a circle, glue this circle to top of middle circle you made in step 2 4. repeat step 3 with remanding 5 circles and glue this to the bottom of the middle circle. helpful hint: you might want to let the glue dry between steps
Pros: quality, love the colors, very big size
Cons: Assembly, directions are really bad, assemby is easy once you have good directions
