"Our city has elections coming up next month, and I'm helping with planning a free, Uptown Outdoor Movie Night as a pre-election event. (We're showing "Swing Vote".) I ordered two units of these buttons (144 pieces) and purchased red, blue, and black BIC Markers at Wal-Mart.
The first 100 people at the Movie Night will recieve a campaign button to customize either as a nametag for themselves or to show support for their favorite candidate(s).
I'm currently a freshman in college, and am studying to be a High School U.S. History teacher. I'm going to save the other 44 buttons for an extra-credit project that my students will have the opportunity to participate in, titled "Running For President". Each "candidate" will recieve a button to wear on "Election Day" when they give their stump speeches to the class.
Overall, I think these are great. The only reminder/warning I have is to make sure you don't attempt to put the button on right after you write on it, as the ink is likely to smudge. However, after a few seconds, the ink dries and the button is good to go!"
