"I just didn't realize how big these fans are; was hoping for something that could fit in a purse. Also, they just don't seem very sturdy and the wooden handles splinter. I liked the old fans that O.T. used to sell with the metal handle. They were smaller, opened and closed easier and had a little metal strip that kept the fan closed when not in use."

"Bought these for my daughter's destination beach wedding. I found them sturdy and attractive. I did have to spend some time removing 3 stickers. I also opened all fans to make sure they worked and to "unstick" them. Can't wait to use them."

"I purchased these fans for a Victorian themed Valentine's Day Tea for Mom's and daughters or granddaughters (over age 5). They arrived promptly and were much larger than I thought they would be. They were so colorful and the kids and adults loved them and used them to send silent messages to each other like women might have done during the Victorian period. They also went wonderfully with our period flowered hats."

"i had a luau anniversary party last summer and i decided to order these fans as a favor for the ladies Boy what a good idea that was On the day of the party it ended up being a hot day and they really came in handy even some of the guys were using them so i recommend anyone who is having a luau to order them especially if it is over the summer Believe me they will be the hit of the party"

"These are the best fans. They are sturdy and almost non-destructable!! I just love them!! I have ordered a bunch and am awaiting my second order of them. They are durable and won''t bend and break like the paper version, which I have also bought. These are just made better. And the price is wonderful. Overall value is GREAT!!
