I chose these for a very casual, outdoor wedding. They came in the mail today and I’m very excited. The bells are tarnished but only a little bit so it fits well with the theme. They only issue I have is that the cards were pretty bent up from the way they were packaged; however, they can be flattened without too much issue. Can’t bet 59 cents!

Bought these for daughter's wedding, but she wasn't pleased with quality at all! However, used them for a Silver Wedding Anniversay party. They were put at each place setting, along with a note on the line instead of the person's name: "After 25 years we may be a little rusty, but still hear bells when we kiss." Am ordering this item again, for another daughter's wedding - she is attaching small flowers to the bells and putting jingle bells inside so they ring louder - because they don't have a very loud sound, and in a reception hall it was hard to hear them.

Based on the previous review, I knew what to expect - tarnished bells. None of the bells were not tarnished; all of them will most likely end up spray painted silver. The bells are cute though. The way the item is packaged, the bells do scratch the surface of each card, so it does leave a mark on each place card. I was hoping to salvage the cards and do something else with them and have the bells separated for other purposes. Maybe OTC should package the bells separately from the cards so the cards are ruined. Overall, cheap quality but nothing beats 50 bells & place cards for 0.59 cents

Every single one of the bells I received was tarnished so don't buy these hoping some of them will still be nice and pretty silver. I had planned to rip them off the cards (because I'm not having assigned seating) and just place the bells on the tables. Since they are all tarnished and aren't usable as is, I am thinking about trying to spray paint them in my wedding colors. I'm not 100% sure it will work, but I'm going to try it since I can't use them as is.
