I think that the heart makes the box appropriate for more occasions and can be used as general gift boxes for handmade jewelry, keychains or hair clips for loved ones. The die cut design is quite special and actually can be used over small white christmas/holiday lights on a table/mantel, as well!

I used these to hold favors for an adult birthday party. They were easy to assemble and very attractive. They were actually a nice size (bigger than I expected) and of good quality for my purposes. The glue held well once I realized that I needed to add a little pressure to the edges, just for several seconds to get them adhere.

I ordered these boxes for an event. The boxes were perfect for what I needed them for. I ordered the dinner mints to go inside as a party favor. They looked beautiful and festive on all the tables. BUT... the tape on the lids do not adhere. After spending 3-1/2 hours (with the help of 3 people) to make them stick by pushing and rubbing I had to glue each side of each box. It wouldn't have been so bad if I had only ordered one dozen, but I ordered 11 dozen. This took hours and hours to get them to stay closed! If I would have know, I would have ordered something else!
