I cut the heart at the bottom off and hung them and threw away the long part. They don't look as cute in person as they do hanging in the catalouge. I also don't like the purple color for Valentine's.

You would need a really high ceiling in which no one would be able to remotely touch these. We used it to add some flair for our 5-yr-old's princess theme party, and they were all destroyed by the time the 3 hrs was up.
