"These are nice quality material, not vinyl or plastic. They are supposed to glow, but I did not find that they were particularly bright. My fault, for not exposing them to sunlight before using, perhaps. Anyway, they are still cool and different for trick or treat bags, or goody bags."

Skull totes get "glowing" review

"Gave these totes out to my little trick-or-treaters so they could collect prizes and candy at my house and "cemetary". The kids loved the totes. Only problem I had was that the totes need to be "charged" in bright light for them to glow properly. Trick or treat day was cloudy all day so the bags only had a faint glow that night. I did place one tote under a bright light and that tote did glow nicely. Totes are pretty sturdy and seemed to hold up to handling."

"I didn't use them as totes, but for decorating the table and the Pirate Store (please read my other pirate reviews) I made red and black bandanas that I attached to these totes and I added a gold button to decorate the bandana. I also had earings to made them look like pirates!!"

"these totes are very cute, and worth the price you pay. I would say they are a bit thin, and have threads coming out of some of the handles...but again, for the price you pay, it's worth it!

"Mateys loved these. cheesy faux cloth - like the reusable shopping totes stores sell now, but for this purpose they're just fine. Kids loved that these weren't the celophane goodie bags - much more fun they thought. Glow in the Dark is always a hit"

"These skull bags were excellent goodie bags for my daughter's pirate princess party. I made simple pink felt bows and hot glued them to the side of the head. So cute! They do glow in the dark, and the size was big enough to hold a jar of bubbles, a necklace, a pencil, a bouncy ball and a bag of cotton candy and one of popcorn. They're very roomy! Will purchase again when my son has the inevitable pirate birthday party."

"I bought these for my son's 5th birthday party goodie bags. The party was at a glow-in-the-dark mini golf place, so these fit right in! I was so impressed with the quality of the bags and the durability! I bought things to put in them but didn't realize how big they were, so I had to buy more! They were a huge hit!"

"I purcahsed these for goodie bags at my Son's pirate party. What a cool bag! I am going to fill them with candy and small toys and hide then in the treasure chest, they will need to follow the map to find them. I would say they hold about 1 1/2 cup of small items.

"these are going to be the loot bags for my son's" pirate duck" 1st birthday party. at 25 cents each they are cheaper than a plastic loot bag and much nicer. i know the children are going to get a big kick out of them esp. when they see them glow in the dark! filled with a coloring book, crayons, 2 pirate rubber duckies and pirate tatoos how cute will that be!!!!"
