Great product!
Date: March 1, 2010
"I purchased these for a birthday carnival for my daughter. The toys that are included are a little less than desirable but I'm going to fill with candy and tickets as well. Instead of bobbing for the apples, I am going to loop a piece of ribbon through it and the kids have to use a fishing pole to retrieve one."

Wonderful to teach food pyramid
Date: February 25, 2010
"The apple is wonderful. We used it at an outdoor event where the apples were hung on a tree and the children gathered the apples. Inside the apples were stickers of the other 4 categores of the food pyramid (vegetables, meats, grains, and dairy).
The children loved picking he apples -- the theme was Down On The Farm -- we had other things like a cow they could milk, but the apples were a real hit.

Great for Party Games
Date: November 27, 2009
"This was a great purchase! We used it to play "Bobbing for Apples," as a relay race, without water. The students loved the game and the apples. They were sturdy and I loved that they came with prizes already in them."

Using them for treatbags!
Date: November 25, 2009
"I reccently held a Twligiht party, so I used to apples to hold vampire teeth and quotes from the book to send home with all of my guests. I used them as decorations during the party, then told everyone to pick an apple! Everyone loved them!
I would also like to use them as a first day of school gift for my students in the future, and fill them with stickers, erasers, etc.!"

bobbing for fun
Date: November 9, 2009
"We had this at our halloween party and the kids had lost of fun doing it. Apples had a tendency to shift and the tops went under the water but the kids still had fun trying to get them!"

Great for our Party
Date: November 9, 2009
"I bought these apples to substutite for real apples in our Halloween party apple game. We hung each apple from a string and the kids had to bite the apple while keeping their hands behind their backs. Last year we found that real apples were hard for the kids to bite into (especially those who had lost their front teeth) and once bitten had to be thrown away (big waste). These apples worked great and the prize was already inside! We simply closed the string inside the apple so that it hung on it's side, then the kids were able to bite the stem to win the game. Lots of fun! We did add the Halloween Rubber Ducks to the little cheap prizes included, which were a big hit too."

Good Size!!!
Date: November 4, 2009
"These are a very good size for filling with treats. The ones that come inside are only good for kids around 4 to 8. The apple container is good for any age though. Stems are definetly good size to use these for bobbing for apples. Some open easy and some are hard to get open, then that means you may need to help smaller children get into them.
We purchased them for a Twilight themed Halloween party and the teens and preteens loved them. The parents thought they were pretty cool too.
May purchase more in the future for another Twilight themed party and also for giving kids teachers gift at end of year or possibly Christmas.
Containers can fit alot of small items. We stuffed ours with a little blood bag (we purchased those here too,) two baseball chocolates, four buttermints, a bracelet, and an apple pin craft kit (also purchased here.)"

Who doesn't love bobbing 4 apples?
Date: October 31, 2009
"Very fun to use for apple bobbing. Included toys are cheap, but heh, for the price we pay here I really was just expecting the apples. Good floaters, don't overload, and be choosy about candies you put inside. Water does get inside a bit and water ended up tinted from candy dyes. Great to load with your own prizes though."

Love these Apples
Date: October 27, 2009
"These apples are great. Like the others said, toys inside are kind of cheesy, but I also bought the Halloween Rubber Duckies to put inside. The kids loved them!!"

Apple of my Eye
Date: October 25, 2009
"Great Apples! We will be using them for a carnival booth - they will "pick an apple" from the tree - we're not Bobbing for apples, worried that the apple will come open in the water. The prizes are small inside - we will be refilling them often as we give the prizes away. Great reusable item!"

apple bobbers?
Date: October 24, 2009
"I bought these because I thought they would be a cute idea for my son's party.. They are actually really cute, its the toys inside that are really junky... you have to buy something to put in there yourself.. The toys inside are VERY cheap, to me it would have been very embarrassing if I had given these out without putting something else inside."

An Apple a Day
Date: October 21, 2009
"The apples are like a good quality plastic Easter egg except apple shaped of course. The prizes range from really cute to a little junky. A few had little plastic figures of a dinosaur and sea creatures. Some had magnets with a sticker too small for the magnet itself. Most however had a small plastic adjustable ring. Young kids think all of these prizes are cool and cute. There is a good amount of space to add more to the apples if you feel it's necessary. Younger kids will not mind the prizes at all if you choose to leave them alone. I would guess 1st grade kids and older would need more added to the apples. The Cowboy Hats arrived in perfect condition and they were all well shaped. As soon as you open these hats you can smell the straw and you start to feel like an authentic cowboy/cowgirl. These hats are a good size for the young children. I know the kids will just love wearing them. These hats are a great price. Many party and hat stores want $2.50-$4 just for one hat."

Very Impressive
Date: October 21, 2009
"These apples are great, and quite big. They securely close (and tightly), and come with a couple VERY small items inside. I am going to put a Halloween rubber ducky inside (they fit nicely) in addition to the sticker and toy and bring them to my daughter's kindergarten party. I assume these are water tight, so you could use them for "bobbing", but with cold and flu season in swing, not a good idea. We are going to hang them from the ceiling and let the kids go apple picking."

Empty
Date: October 9, 2009
"The apples might as well have been empty since each contained 2 REALLY cheap trinkets--like a sticker and a small plastic ring. But the apples were adorable so I will fill them with my own treats. Don't use as is, people will think you are cheap."

Fun & Reusable
Date: October 8, 2009
"These are wonderful to have, but do not over estimate the quality of the prizes. Most apples include small stickers or tattoos. Considering the price for 12 apples the pre-stocked prizes didn't bother me much. Adding your own unique goodies to the apples work great."

Apple Picking
Date: October 7, 2009
"These were great for my apple theme party. I didn't use them in water because the kids were too young and it was a very cold day. So I hung them from one of my trees and told the kids we were going apple picking. They loved it!"
