"Bags were a good size. Bought for a birthday party and let the girls decorate. The fabric weave was pretty loose and the paint soaked through both sides. Recommend putting newspaper in the bag if using fabric paint.
Not shown in the picture, but two of the bags in the assortment were a nasty brown color. No one wanted those bags and I suppose I'll donate them somewhere."

"I purchased these bags for my Cub Scout Pack to decorate with markers and use to carry their handbook, folders and etc. they work great. I am very happy with them. The only drawback is the orange is not orange but some dingy pumpkin color (but that doesn't matter) Yes...I will order these again next year!!!"

"I had purchased these bags to give out to family members after they open their Christmas gifts so they could put their gifts into the bags and take everything home. They will be great with the kids so that they do no lose anything or get their gifts mixed up with someone else. I would have preferred the bags in all red or green but these will do. They will be great storage bags for the kids and great shopping bags for the adults since we are attempting to go green with the plastic shopping bags."

"For the price, these totes were great! They are quite large and held everything I planned on gifting for Operation Christmas Child* (I placed all the smaller gifts inside the bag, then placed the bag inside the shoebox). The fabric is somewhat see-through but only when held up to the light. I agree with the other reviewers when commenting on the orange color. It's more of a brown mustard color."

"These bags are the biggest I can find for a good price. They are used to assemble Special Kids Bags for Heavenly Angels in Need - these bags are filled with survival items for children forced to flee abusive situations, such as pajamas, socks, toys, toiletries, and other age-appropriate items. I use these solid-color bags for the boys and the ones with lotus blossoms are used for girls' bags.
My only complaint is that there are sometimes loose threads, and in one case a handle wasn't even attached on one side, but these problems are easily corrected by a sewing machine."

"Bags were bought as a craft activity for vacation bible school. They were more durable than I thought they would be for the price. The children loved decorating them, even the older teenagers. Best used with stickers and stick-on products. Big enough for the kids to carry their bibles and other church materials in."

"The bags that I ordered will be used for our group's literacy project to deliver books to children through a special agency. They are durable and large enough to handle books of all sizes. The orange bag is a strange color--it isn't really a true orange in my opinion. The other colors are vibrant and very eye-catching for young children."

"I ordered these for a group project. The orange in the picture is not really orange at all. More of a harvest gold, so it wasn't the "bright" I was hoping for. I wanted to do iron-on transfers, but the first bag melted to my iron. I was able to embroider them and they look great. Not the best quality, but you get what you paid for."

"I think the bags at Oriental Trading are not described well enough to know the accurate size...from the opening to the length. I had purchased these for a goodie bag after purchasing and returning another that was too small. These turned out to be way too big for what I needed them for. Customer service was very helpful and I was able to get a size that truly worked.
IHowever, I do want to say that these are very nice bags, colorful and roomy and would be perfect if they are being used for other things other than candy and little toys."

"These bags are nice & roomy. The colors are bright (except for the orange - looks more gold). They are a little thin but will work really well for what I need them for. You certainly can't beat the price of $10 for 12 bags. I'm using them in place of backpacks to give to foster kids who come to homes with nothing. Lots of room to put things in them."

"These tote bags were quite chintzy, thin, and cheaply made, but perfect for what we needed them for - a bag for the kids to take all of their crafts and goodies home from the end of year third grade classroom party. The kids wrote their names on the bags with fabric marker and sharpies. My kids are using the bags as pool bags and I've seen other kids actually use them in place of their backpacks for the last couple days of school. Overall, I'm glad I got them."

"The kids loved these, especially the bright colors, they do hold a lot of stuff; BUT you can't iron on transfers; I tried and it was an awful mess. The orange isn't a true orange color though, it looks more brown, I didn't care much for it, I hope whomever makes them will improve the orange color."

"I use these for recital gifts. I decorate them with musical symbols and their names, then fill them with goodies for the recital participants. The bags then get used as their music bags for lessons as they do hold the sheet music very well."
