This is an inexpensive way for each of our participants to get some recognition. As others noted, it would be nice to have a cardboard tag on the back for some writing, but we ended up making our own.

I found the ribbon to be exactly as it shows in the picture. It is an inexpensive way to recognize each of the participants in a program especailly for those who may not have received a trophy, or a first, second, third place or honorable mention ribbon. Great to use in contests, Sunday School, School, VBS, TM, etc.

I had a hard time finding these in local stores, so I was glad Oriental Trading had them for sale. However, you weren't able to hang them or write on them (I've seen ribbons with a cardboard in the back) so we had to purchase something additional to attach to the ribbons to make them effective.
