"I used this with my Harry Potter class and they turned out great! I've got a few tips to share. :) First, make sure to write their names on the back in pencil or waterproof marker. I cut them in half and found that was big enough. I sandwiched the paper between a piece of corrugated cardboard and a piece of overhead film, just a little bigger than the paper. Then I stapled them together, without catching the paper. This is key, because now you'll be able to slide the leaves in and still be able to get the paper out. I even saved my little boards for next year. This method keeps the leaves and paper from blowing away, but allows the light to penetrate without leaving funky clip marks. The cardboard is just heavy enough to anchor everything. It only takes a few minutes. While still outside, the kids shake out the leaves and drop the paper in a container of water. We then set them on the sidewalk to dry a bit. It's also a good idea to weigh them down with some heavy books while they are a little bit damp as they do tend to get wrinkly. One caveat, the package says to use within 6 months. Since I only teach the class once a year...I guess I won't be using the extras."
